The Dutch begin to build "eternal" plastic
road
Such tracks as compared with the conventional serve many times longer.
They are less susceptible to abrasion and other damage as well as less
expensive. In addition, the new motorway will help clear debris from the
world's oceans. The largest road building company KWS Infra from the
Netherlands VolkerWessels and experts gather in the near future to begin the
first project in the world to build highways from plastic. The roads from
recycled synthetic material will start in Rotterdam. City authorities have already
agreed to implement the project
