Boris Efimov
A great
cartoon master in USSR. Has title of "The People's Meritorious
Artist", and a regular member of USSR Artists Academy. Was an editor of
"KROKODIL". Work appears in "PRAVDA", "KROKODIL".
In the first half of 20th century, he was called one of the two greatest
authorities of the international political cartoon with David Lowe

Boris Efimov
never thought I would become an artist, but to paint like a child. The ability
to draw showed up at him early, from 5-6 years. On paper, he preferred not to
depict the natural environment - at home, trees, cats or horses, and the
figures and characters born of his own imagination, stories older brother and
content of the books they read. Very soon this childish enthusiasm gave way to
a conscious desire to transfer to paper the humor in the habits and character
of the people.
