This section of the piece is inspired by the legendary Central Asian desert, the Taklamakan. Relentless and fierce, many stories tell of travelers lured to their deaths by spirit voices screaming in the dry winds of its storms. The polyphonic vocals opening this section are in Bulgarian, Vetar Vee - "The wind is blowing...."
Water -

"Ab Ra Gel Nakonim - Don't Muddy the Water", a composition by Neema Hekmat with lyrics by beloved contemporary Iranian poet Sohrab Seperhi, describing the beauty of nature's clear streams and the yearning for a simple mindful life

The Epic of Kings: Hero Tales of Ancient Persia

Hakim Abol-Ghasem Ferdowsi Toosi
World famous Persian (Iranian) poet

Chapter3

May the Lord keep and guard thee. May thine enemies be utterly destroyed. May the days of Saum the hero be happy. For the Almighty hath accomplished his desire. He hath given to him an heir, a son is born unto the mighty warrior behind the curtains of his house, a moon-faced boy, beautiful of face and limb, in whom there is neither fault nor blemish, save that his hair is like unto that of an aged man. I beseech thee, O my master, bethink thee that this gift is from God, nor give place in thine heart to ingratitude."
