World of Dolls- Russia

Igor Vyguzov and Zotov Natalia

Each one of my dolls is created with no use of any molds, therefore is absolutely unique and cannot be duplicated.
This doll, as with all of my creations is made using a very rigid wire armature for added strength.

one of a kind polymer clay 18.5"/47cm doll "MONOSTATOS" is a character in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's famous opera Die Zauberflote (The Magic Flute).

 Alla Pugacheva -Insomnia

Before the end of the earth the sun touches the edge,
And the windows draped crimson fire,
And come to torment my soul insomnia
From the black cave, where hiding during the day
Soul mourns and prays
At the edge of the abyss,
And waits for the insomnia
Will start the game your own.
Longing for me being chased -
Over the last cry.

Go away, please, insomnia!
I want to forget it!
And I remember the bright days and good,
But all of a sudden eclipse bygone misfortune
And the night running from the past
And I can not escape anywhere
.

.Go away, please, insomnia!
I want to forget it!
Dawn, and the soul is calm
And it will shine with azure sky.
But in the black cave wolf-insomnia
I remember the evening awaits.

Soul mourns and prays
At the edge of the abyss,
And waits for the insomnia
Will start the game your own.
Longing for me being chased -
Over the last cry.
Go away, please, insomnia!
I want to forget him

Arlecchino is a shape shifting servant to Pantalone, Il Capitano or Il Dottore. A crafty low status character, Arlecchino tries to trick his patrons out of money, but usually fails. Arlecchino is very quick, acrobatic and limber. He's not as intelligent as Brighella, but he is not as stupid as the Zannis.

made of SculpWood epoxy putty.

Il Capitano (The Captain) is a bragadocious, arrogant, egocentric man feigning machismo. Behind this thick façade of manliness and courage, he is, in fact, a timid coward afraid of most everything. He probably is not a Captain in an army, but because he moves around from city to city, he is able to pretend he has higher status than he really should. Il Capitano is feared by the townspeople only because he puts on a convincing (albeit absurd) show of intimidation.

Monostatos first appears in Sarastro's temple supposedly guarding Pamina. However his lust for Pamina is such that she desperately tries to escape from his tormenting and eventually succeeds when Papageno appears. Papageno and Monostatos encounter one another after Pamina has fainted, and both are afraid of the other's difference (neither has seen anything like the other before) and run away from one another. Monostatos finally attempts to recapture Papageno and Pamina when they are trying to make their way back to Tamino, but Papageno uses the Magic Bells and the Bells' enchantment saves them. He eventually captures Tamino instead and brings him before Sarastro.
