Daughter of the Sea - by Homay & The Mastan Ensemble
The video is about a Shepard’s daughter who risks her life to save her sheep from an attack by pack of wolves. She falls in the river and is carried out to the ocean. Her family and the villagers look for her but her body is never found. Her mother never accepts the death of her daughter and for over 50 years, she goes to the same spot by the ocean and asks for the return of her daughter. She still believes that her daughter is alive and the waves will one day bring her back. This story eventually becomes a legend known as “daughter of the ocean” that gets passed down from generation to generation.
